Oak Hill Train Show

West Virginia Operation Lifesaver again attended the Oak Hill Model Train Show sponsored by the White Oak Chapter, NRHS. This year the Mobile Education Unit and simulator was on hand for those who attended the two day event. Several people tried their hand at operating a locomotive with the WVOL simulator, but everyone hit the truck in the tracks. This simulation shows folks that a train can stop but it can't stop quickly. According to WVOL State Coordinator, John Perry, "This show gets bigger each year and where there are crowds we have a better opportunity to reach people with our safety message."
